Thou Voice
Mad Dog's Ghost The Bukta kit.

Would kill for one of those shirts now.

Was the previous kit really umbro. Never seen the umbro logo on any old pics.

Well buy one then...

I've had stuff from TOFFS before, not the best quality in my opinion - doesn't take long for the shirt to become misshapen. Save your money, visit http://www.classicfootballshirts.com (or co.uk - forget which!)

First kit bought: I think it was the 96/98 one, but I didn't really like it that much.

First kit I saw was the 93-94 Pelada one. I'd pick the 1955-57 kit, myself, but add the old badge.

Agree 1969 - 1977 was best when we had the narrow hoops with white shorts/socks.

I've got a genuine replica top from I think 1982/3 which is half white/half hoops with Osca the kit manufacturer. It's horrible sweaty material though and no wonder the team struggled - I think we went down in that kit to div 4 that year.

First kit I remember is the all sky blue one from 1968-69. I went and bought a Subbuteo team in sky blue and then the club changed back to hoops the following season..! I liked the later kit that had the horizontal stripes down the side of the shorts. We had a great away kit with blue and yellow hoops as well.

Was that the http://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk link? You can also google search "Football not muggy bone head" as well for re-cycled shirts. I've used Classic Football shirts a few times now - altho if I'd just bough the kits when they'd come out at the time I wouldn't have needed to!!!

I'd swear it was the 1969-1974 kit but I only remember watching the Royals from about 1975 so I guess it was the 74-76 kit.

Shows that I am too old for this board!
