At RFC cheap enough = good enugh. Except - crushingly for us - Matt Mills. And Rodgers himself :| .

Is he Clark Kent's alter ego or is he using a plane ?

Unless he's the former, we're still in trouble.

Knowing Rodgers, he's accidentally signed Blooperman.

Brendan needs a saviour by the looks of it, where's Jesus when you need him.

Jesus has been dead for 2000 years. We'd be better off with Father Christmas, he only puts some effort in once a year but that's still better than Shane Long.

Supposedly a Kevin Doyle type of player, first game he'd be eligible for is Liverpool in the FA Cup.

He better be the devil himself, because that is going to be one hell of a baptism of fire.

Thought I read that he can't play until Jan 5th because he's from outside the UK.

Hat-trick against the Geordies would be nice.

From what has been written about this fella, he would have appearde to have been on the radar for some while and was talked about during November, if he is available to medical etc now..........

why didnt we pick him up before the window closed two weeks ago ??

Because we've got one striker. Why would we need another?

Or because the emergency loan system doesn't allow loans from abroad. Take your pick.

I fully expect the pressure on him to be enormous once he starts playing, and for him to wither and die, bagging maybe 5 goals in the remainder of the season.

Well if he likes any other foregin signing we've made he'll need at least a year to settle in and I would imagine a loan out to the lower leagues as well.

Really hope this is a chance signing, rather than the only striker that we'll sign. You just don't know with what's going on at the moment...
