And Rodgers still managed to drop him pointlessly when he was our best attacking player several times.

I don't think playing Sig is particularly worth praising Rodgers for.

Bringing in Mills, McAnuff, Rasiak and Bertrand. Now those are reasons to praise him. Unless you think he should have brought in a better striker than Rasiak for a similar value. Course he then didn't play Mills. So that was a failure.

Still, he did promote Church and Sig.

Really? Thats news to me. Did Church play any first team matches for us under him or was he loaned out to other clubs for the rest of the season?

Coppell also played Sigurdsson in three cup games. TBF though the people to be congratulated for bringing him on are Dolan and McDermott.
