Friday 18.01 Sportsweek guest

by BBC Radio Berkshire » 18 Jan 2008 11:41

As promised, news that Kevin Dillon is our guest tonight from 6pm.

Athletico Spizz among others will be delighted to know that, faced with competition from 107 Mark, I'm not going on holiday again until 2012.

I will anyway... sod the BBCRB clique!

Kevin - thoughts on the appointment of Keegan at Newcastle? As a local, were you disappointed not to have been mentioned in connection with this job?

Kevin Paul Dillon,

Should your job in football come to an abrupt end, might I suggest that you consider a fulfilling career as a SERIAL KILLER as remarkably, an anagram of your name is LOVE PAIN, DUN KILL

Cheers then
Cheery

Kevin

Please explain why we tend to concede a shed load of goals in every game and how do you propose to prevent Man Utd running up a cricket score tomorrow?

Please please please please can we have a right winger?

What is the problem with Reading and away games this season? We've only managed one win at that took 120 minutes of football to achieve at a team 2 divisions below us?

I know that we never buy players for the hell of it and tend to avoid short term fixes but what I believe this club needs desperately is the lift of a signing that really gets people excited even if only a loan.

Matthew Taylor moved to Bolton yesterday, were Reading interested in his services? If not, why did you think he would not improve the overall squad?

Red or blue bounties?

What's the latest on the Steve Hunt bids, have Sunderland gone to £6million yet?

As Davie K has a dodgy knee does that mean that Lita may start tomorrow or is SC likely to go for a 4-5-1? Go on you can tell, I doubt if Alex is going to be too worried what we do!

Great to see Simon Cox and Alex Pearce play on Tuesday, I thought that they both did really well but what does James Henry have to do to get a game?!

Where did that story about Udo Nwoko come from, presumably the club did show some form of interest at one point or was it wholly a dream of some journo somewhere?

Kevin,
Derby County are a basket case yet their defence is no worse than ours. What is the main reason we have the worst defence in the division and how can we improve it?

Kev,

would you rather be a penguin in the jungle or a gorilla on an iceberg?

Thanks,

Kevin

Is Wally Downes still coaching defence and yourself midfield? If so, what's Wally doing wrong?

Do you see a future in management or are you happy with your current role?

Kevin,

Why is it that we seem to be able to only play well in the last 10 minutes?

Are there questions marks over Marcus Hahnemann's future hence why Kowalewski has joined on trial?

Will Simon Cox be given a chance in the Reading first team or will he be sold off?

Will any youth players ever be given an opportunity in the first team whilst we are in the Premiership?

Do you have any ambitions to manage in the future?

Kevin, do you have any influence on who Steve chooses on a game to game basis for the squad? What do you think about playing Cox at wing and putting Convey on the bench?

Apparently we are trying to sign a player from a club who is at loan at a club, and his parent club wants to sell him to us, but there is a problem at the club he is loaned at currently. Very cryptic.
