We've actually sold out initial allocation and they are giving us more. Not sure if that is more of the top tier or the bottom tier, but I am pretty surprised we've sold the initial allocation, given the cost and the state the club is in right now - fair play.

Until supporters stop going there in numbers they will continue to charge that much. I think it is quite an appealing away day for many, lots to do close by to the stadium, fairly easy to get to.

It is an appealing away day, for sure. £25 and it would be a no-brainer, even £28. But you're right, if they've got a decent amount of fans paying that price then they are never going to change.

Just can't justify paying that much when all premier league away games are capped at £30.

Yeah I'm the same. Stopped doing QPR away after the 2018/19 season, just think the fan experience inside the ground is appalling. Really uncomfortable seating and limited views for over £30? No thanks.

Its all about a day out with a few mates accompanied by a few swift ones.
Got used to losing, so the footy is an excuse to lay of the beers for a couple of hours. (Crap beer in ground)
Then back on it after.

Football ticket prices are an odd one. £28 is ok but £33 is unacceptable, but that's literally just an extra (shit) beer at the ground.

Funny how our minds work.

Indeed.

Plastic bottles of Carlsberg at Loftus if memory serves?

Taking my 6 year old to this. Is it better to be at front or back in terms of seeing the pitch for a small person?

Would go at the front as a lot of people will stand.

I'm surprised they offered us the lower tier when 1) they're doing well so they could have filled it themselves easily 2) after what happened in the reverse fixture.

Can he do a job at centre back?

It's almost impossible to find a pub that lets away fans in around Loftus Road/SheBu. Will probs just go to Brewdog.

Probably start at Belushi's in Shepherd's Bush, then head to Brewdog. Usual route.

Used to live round there but I'm about a decade out of date. tbh the pubs aren't great. If it were me, I'd head further down Uxbridge or Goldhawk Road.

I remember meating a few nobbers in the Crown & Sceptre (wood panelled Fullers house) before one match, then you've got the Queen Adelaide and couple of others near it (and of them the QA would be the pick of the bunch). Perfectly servicable but nothing amazing.

I love the Andover Arms in Brackenbury village but that's maybe a bit far. And probably gone overly poncy/gastro since my day in any case.

Post of the year right there, thank you.

We will get a point in this game.

Andover Arms is a brisk 20 minute walk to the ground if I recall. Decent pub...and being just over a mile away tends to avoid
being packed with fakes. Good shout on the pubs :D

Big Les has just called it 'a derby' on talkSPORT - so that is how it appears QPR are treating the game.
