Probably-I don't remember fat older blokes wearing them before then so I am very much with Brogue on this.
It really is not a good look.

Before then replica shirts were quite rare, so you didn't usually see anybody wearing them.

It's not a great look even if you aren't old and fat, but I don't think many wear them to games because they think it looks stylish.

I like the club's shirt to look good, even if I don't want to buy it. Otherwise we should all be happy even if they players were decked out in those horrible Matchwinner efforts of the early 90s.

Do something completely different and ditch the hoops entirely.

I did think for the 20/21 season we should have reverted back to the kit colours we wore in our first ever league season in 1920/21.

I seemed to be in a minority of one though.

SACRILEGE! and, yes, I do know we ditched them before, which I didn't agree with then.

Last time they were ditched the club cantered it's way to the third tier title.

Even better then, 2 promotions in 3 seasons plus a cup win at Wembley. Stuff the hoops now!

Agreed.
One of the worst things about modern football is seeing fat blokes 30 and over wearing a team's football shirt and hoops supposedly make people look even fatter.

Is anything a good look on a fat middleaged man?

It doesn’t matter, Scott Dann won’t be there next season.

Apparently the kit(s) will continue pushing the climate change tax hoax again next season.

They'll no doubt be better than our abominations next season. Paul's a decent chap too.

Allegedly our new kits: https://twitter.com/Obitabanter/status/ ... 89794?s=20

I'd be very happy if they do turn out to be our kits.

Someone's gone to a hell of a lot of effort if they're fake. I like the away one, but looks more like a training top. The home one is horrific imho.
