Will the club be doing these for next year?

Getting away tickets the last time we were in the prem was not an issue for the top two royality points categories.

Unfortunately I have 1400 royalty points, but I want an away season ticket anyway

Unfortunately my point count isn't that much - around 700.

Money is hard to come by these days. I'm not sure I could afford an away season ticket this year. I had one back in 2007 and that cost about £700 for it, and probably about another £700 in costs of trains, food, drink, etc...

As from next season Home STH's get equal priority for away tickets regardless of how many Royalty Points they have.

On the season tickets page on the official site

Ticket priority for high demand away matches. From next season, both season ticket status and number of Royalty Points will be used as criteria for key away games. Season ticket holders are being rewarded with the highest possible priority, in conjunction with their Royalty Points, as opposed to Royalty Points being the sole criteria used.

Check the website. STH's get equal priority for away tickets before the points come into play. Fair enough too!

Question.

Having a member card since they were invented, but not having had a season ticket for several seasons (for logistical reasons) - how do I find out what loyalty points I / we have ?

Log in to the online ticketing via the website, or Google Readingfc direct. You might need to set up an account, I can't remember, but it tells you on there and you can book your seats etc on there too.

I remember now, I've been around this interminable loop before - it's why I always end up booking by phone.

The system says you can activate your account by putting your customer number, postcode and surname in the boxes below - but that's in a pop-up with no boxes to fill in that info, and it returns you to the registration top page when you hit activate account. The usual problem with a newer loyalty system than the membership itself. Rats.

Managed to fix online registration (change of postcode involved since last used).

That clearly states "Season ticket holders are being rewarded with the highest possible priority, in conjunction with their Royalty Points"

The way I see it, it will go something along the lines of STH with X amount of points, STH, then Royalty Points without STs.
