Sutekh But the club won't have a record of those that went to earlier round games if the tickets weren't bought through them. The games we had were hardly sell outs and so tickets would have been available on the day.

There were so few of us at Huddesfield it wouldn't make a massive difference if they did prioritise us. OR put us in the same band as STH if we aren't.. Anyone who purchased a ticket via the club and has a postcode south of Oxford gets put with STH :D

We had over 40,000 for the playoff with Swansea, think the final figure was between 41-42000

http://www.readingchronicle.co.uk/sport ... o-wembley/

We always sell our allocations, for the big games and even to Cardiff sold the 34-35000 we were allocated.

Should be the same allocations as the playoff, for the semifinals

Wish the club would just get on with clarifying what the policy will be, even if the details of the date etc are not confirmed.

Anyone that thinks we will not sell-out if STHs only get 1 is delusional. The best way to guarantee we will end up with Arsenal in our end is if we give STHs 2. They will bring along their Arsenal mates, kids, nephews whatever or sell the +1.

1 per STH first please, then members. 1 x STH = 1 person. Why do they think they are any different to the members who in some cases go to more home games than the STHs who just turn up for odd games and keep the ST hoping we will get back in the Prem one day.

Sorry, but that is just rubbish. The last thing ST holders will want is a load of Gooners in our end. No way would any real fan get a ticket for an Arsenal fan to sit next to them. Far more likely is that ST holders will bring along mates who are Reading fans.

Harpers So Solid Crew One per st holder, and allow a points level as well on day one.
Leave that for first three days say.
Then a further three days for all members card holders, then open sale.
Though I would expect to sell out within five days.
This would allow st to buy more than one if there was a member card holder they wanted to go.with.

The club know the number of STHs and the number of people on certain levels of points.

Tickets could go on immediate sale to 31,000 qualifying fans - 1 for each STH and 1 for members who have enough points to put them in that bracket. The points cut off put be pretty low on that basis and it would probably be everyone who has been to more than a handful of games over the past ten years? And both STHs and members would be able to buy at the same time and sit together.

They should make it public that there's enough to go round. If there's any left they could go on sale on a lower points level and then to general.

Just do what the club did with the playoff final (outsource online sales to one of the big companies like Ticketmaster) which frees up all stadium staff to sales in person and telephone queries. 2 tickets per season ticket followed by scattered member card sales. Easy

Not sure why you would outsource an automated process which we already have a system to do. You really don't want to have sales on two different systems either, I think we went down that road with a previous game and it was chaotic.
You could get some temps in to do the mailing of tickets easily enough and for a fraction of what Ticketmaster would take off you.
Or you could do the sales first and not mail tickets out until the sales were finished, making best use of the staff we already have.

Oh sorry......of course the mate of a STH who isnt a member and just fancies a day out should of course get a ticket before me.

How rude of me to think otherwise.

Don't you have to get the tickets through Wembley Stadium anyway, not the club?

But have we got the systems? Surely the layout of seats etc at Wembley is not on our system and it seems unlikely they could set that up by Monday
