At what point does buying beers become a 'round'? 3 or more? That could just as easily be '3 pints'

You have 10 pints? For a home game? Like a standard league game?

Fair.

Don't even ask about away games!

If there was no football, would you still have the beer? If not, your tongue must be absolutely hanging out for later :D If not, should beer consumption be included as part of the cost?

Cheaper now for me than it used to be.

Park at Gloucester station: Free
Train to Reading: Free
Walk to MadStad (save queueing for a bus plus a decent walk): Free

So just the match ticket really.

Unless I drive (no trains back after an evening match, or time critical to get back home) in which case it is probably about £20 fuel plus £7 parking.

65 miles each way at 9p per mile (average cost of diesel) = £11.70. Parking in Green Park is free. Food and drinks for me + 2 boys = £25. So around £36 minimum, more if it's a hot day. BTW, I discovered that one of the kiosks behind the East Stand does a sausage and bacon roll on Tuesday.

110 miles each way from Brum so about £25 in diesel.

To be honest, I probably only drink around 6 pints for a regular, boring, home game. That's between 12.00 and 17.00. For a Categorie 1 game, a game against a team that will bring a good away support and we have a little bit of history against up that to 10 pints, Sorry for over exaggerating things but the price of a game is still high....

No need to apologise Sir. Forgive my enthusiastic interest. Beer is a serious topic and should never beer (see what i did there  ) taken lightly.

I appreciate you explanatory effort and wish you many a happy beer to come.

Why don't you just do what most people from Poland do?

Move here.

Ah well I wouldn't class that as 'costing you to get to Reading games'. Bit more understandable then!
