Lived in Cardiff for 3 years and didn't get to see us player there once (though I've been to the stadium twice)

11/12 played them in the holidays
12/13 we were in the prem
13/14 they were in the prem

So finally IN x 2 for seeing us in Cardiff.

Our away support is so so poor.

£20 - just down the road & bank holiday weekend and we can't even get 1,000 going.

Shocking IMO

A lot of people are away/doing other things on BH Weekend. Nature of playing football in the summer/school holidays I'm afraid. That added to the fact we have been pretty shocking away from home recently makes for poor attendances.

I can assure you that if this game was being played in Feb/March and Reading were sitting near the top of the league, we would have no issue shifting 2,500 tickets.

Still very poor in my opinion - i'm not saying we need to take thousands but come on! 600 - shocking!

Nature of the beast at the moment I'm afraid. Nothing is going to change unless we start to string some decent away performances together.

It's not just down the road and you have answered your own statement, its a bank holiday weekend.

Italian earthquake is shocking, this is just apathy amongst supporters whilst this season unfolds.

Train prices have put me off. I would drive but I want to drink and prefer the train taking the strain.

Do any RFC fans get together and organise a mini bus as I've seen other clubs often do that, mainly as a group of m8s though.

+1 Reading and Cardiff aren't exactly close...

If the team were doing well and winning games we'd sell out most of our allocation most of the time. The fact is there is very little to entice someone to watch Reading away when they have seen 1 win in something like 20 games.

I go because I'm clearly a sadomasochist and like to feel miserable really...

Okay so maybe the word shocking was over the top  still very poor, even compared to Oxfords away support.

Having missed only 14 away games in 3 years now I certainly know what you mean about enjoying being miserable, why else would we do it?!

I could've done, but you could've let Englefield win the cricket game earlier this season    #neverforget
