Yep, so much so, that he, Uncle Tom Cobly, or whoever he was (but not dd) had me on ‘on ignore’ for soooooo long that he publicly apologised for one of his (many) outbursts shortly afterwards.

Strange fellah(s)

Are the plans to move C1871 to the corner next to Y26 still going ahead?

I know some Y25/26er's weren't best pleased with it, but that corner will make a great noise together.

Is club 1871 still a thing or have the club finally put the long awaited nail into the coffin and ended this failed money sink of an experiment, seeing as we are in such financial dire straits? Hoping that some internal people up high have finally seen sense about this.

Go to a lot of home games do you ?? Now you've made me waste 30 seconds of my life replying to your garbage statement. Please don't reply as I won't make the same mistake again

How was it a mistake if you willingly replied?

I have had a season ticket for 24 years pal.

In that case you would know that C1871 is not a thing of the past....so why ask it? Two mistakes now in bothering to reply to you...my error.

A stand behind the goal three quarters full of passionate Reading fans.
A designated area of positive fan based noise.
Knock on effect of atmosphere increasing around the ground.
Positive acknowledgement from the players.

Genuinely interested in your reasons why it has not been a success and needs to be scrapped.

It is nuts after all that Club 1871 has done that they are still getting questioned by some fans. Only reason why I'm still going to be honest, no way I would have been going watching the dross on the pitch sitting in Y26 and getting outsung by away fans in a half empty stadium each week. Actually proud of our home support now despite the pitful numbers. Can only imagine what the atmosphere would be like in a full crowd.

Simmops just a div troll. Anyone who's been to the ground this season knows the huge difference its made. It's been an unquestionable success and has far exceed my expectations.

• "three quarters full" - are you taking the piss? Or do you seriously deem that as success?
• "positive fan based noise" - is slamming seats and booing the players included in that?
• "Positive acknowledgement from the players." - they are hardly going to slag off the fans are they.

Club1871 is an out and out failure

*The stand that they occupy is 3/4 full - fact.
*I have witnessed nothing you describe with regards to booing and slamming seats.
*Lame

Thanks to c1871 there is more noise in the stadium than in the past when we had more in the stands.

Go back though the thread and there're countless examples of fans booing players, not giving their promised "always stick behind the team " and being negative.

They were loads of trouble makers In Club1871 swearing at fans and charging away fans too.
