Have to agree with the positive sentiments about C1871 and the fact the players reserve their biggest celebrations for that stand and the fact that Meite decided to attend a game in that stand tells me the players are receptive to it.

The atmosphere at matches is insanely better and that's coming from a guy in Y20 so almost the opposite side to C1871, it's really obvious how much things have improved.

Hendo Cov was bad, no doubt.

Weather probably played a part in that, but they were good on Tuesday, for a lot of the game, not just the end. Although that was arguably when the players needed them the most and it was noisy.

Orion1871 Have club 1871 developed laryngitis over the world cup break?

They were unusually quiet and very low on numbers.

Time to end this farce

It's costing the club too much money and it's embarrassing

They are bleeding this club dry and causing the club not to pay staff

I have seen a lot of social media posts and even more tik toks (yes I know) where it’s nothing but positive comment about our atmosphere, noting the improvement and sustainability. If you were to poll a couple of years ago regards to atmosphere we would be 4th quarter, but from what I am seeing regularly now it’s entering top quartile.

Brilliant initiative and here to stay.

Why you keep rising to the board gimp?

So people can't have different options and opinions,?

You and Ian resort to abuse needlessly

It’s not an ‘opinion’, it’s just tedious nonsense trotted out with no thought, no humour. Just give it a (long) rest……

I strongly disagree its needless. I think it's very restrained and thoroughly called for.

In fact, if I thought there was a creator, I'd go so far as to say he created dd and abuse to go together like strawberries and cream.

I'm willing to call a truce with you

I won't abuse or be nasty to you or about you if you are willing to do the same?

For the better of the board. Agree?

It's not even his own material. He's just doing the same act OMA did early on in this thread.

club 1871 is getting extra allocation for the Blackpool game,as they are bringing hardly anyone. Block R29 will also be used by c1871.

Don't ground rules state any unreserved stand needed 10% removed for sale. Judging by the number of blocked off seats it would appear it exceeds that.

Great news - be interesting to see how this pans out and difference it can make. I just wish the team would kick towards C1871 in the second half.

Should hopefully be great for the atmosphere that is already going to be a bumper crowd because of the kids £1 tickets, great for a crucial game.

Yiu would also need areas blocked off for segregation, which would be in addition to the 10% not sold due to being unreserved.

Wonder if they will choose to put down Club 1871 when we get relegated, and finally just accept its been a failure? Hasn't seemed to have worked well this season at all.

Until we get safe standing back and are therefore able to return to the more natural way of supporting the atmosphere will always feel “forced”.
