If we sell out the initial allocation we will get more, I`m convinced of that.

Got mine this morning. Ticket office said sales are ‘going well’. So I’m sure you are right!

To be honest I am not sure they would turn round to you and say they are doing badly.

I am pretty sure in the past they have been honest with how many tickets have been sold, whether that is a big number or a small one.

I was told the 3,000 or so is our only allocation.

We’re certainly entitled to more than 3000 and United couldn’t limit us to that.
However what often happens is the visiting club gets an initial allocation on a sale or return basis and can then take additional tickets on a firm sale basis.
We may have decided that taking 7500 of which the club would have to cover any unsold tickets isn’t a good deal so we’ve opted to take the smaller allocation.

A televised 12:30 kick off in Manchester, the week after Christmas, against a team we've played a fair few times in recent years and will be a firm favourite.

Anyone who wants a ticket will be able to get one.

Extended to members with 15 points, now able to buy up to 4 tickets and the 3,534 figure is now listed as ‘final allocation’.

Does anyone know if we have sold out?

I am now going to be in Manchester on the Saturday and would really like 2 tickets

Website implies I can still buy but options are greyed out on the reading fc direct site but it is ambiguous as to whether that means not available as it also says you need to call the ticket office to get the subsidised price.

Or anyone who has 2 tickets and cannot go please let me know
