Jagermesiter1871 How was it for those who went? Concourses open? Beer? Sounded good on TV.

Could only buy snacks and non-alcoholic drinks outside the stadium, nothing was open inside.

Presumably it's fairly easy to smuggle in a hip flask at the moment.

Can't see them being too keen on the usual OTT body searches in the current climate.

Certainly haven't been frisking people or checking bags as far as I've seen.

I'd pipe a straw up to my mouth hidden under a mask, connected to a prosthetic santa belly storing 5 litres of warmed Jager, but that's just me.

Hendo For the Luton game on Boxing Day, the tickets will go on sale from Thursday for those who paid the retainer before the first deadline.

I guess this allows the club to release information but still withdraw it just in case Reading goes into T3 following the review announcement tomorrow.

Tickets for the Royals' meeting with Luton Town on Saturday 26th December (3pm) will open for sale at 10am on Thursday 17th December. As per current Tier 2 restrictions, our capacity for this game is 2,000.

Please note – in the event that Reading is reclassified as Tier 3, we would not be permitted to allow fans into Madejski Stadium, as per government guidelines. In this instance, any match ticket costs would be refunded (minus booking fees).

On sale dates
Tickets will be made available to supporters on the following dates:

Thursday 17th December, 10am: Supporters who paid their 2020-21 Season Ticket renewal deposit by the October 2nd deadline
Friday 18th December, 10am: All supporters who have paid their 2020-21 Season Ticket deposit
A further announcement will be made on Friday if any tickets remain after the above sales period

Green has got the right idea here

I probably should have checked this earlier but I just checked the tickets I received that I assumed were for the Norwich game, checked this morning and for some reason they sent me tickets for the already gone Birmingham game, so joy, I have to call the ticket office.

Just seen on telly , that the decision on tiers will be published tomorrow, that will be interesting if the tickets go on sale and they move us to T3.

They will just issue refunds. Like all the other clubs that have moved into tier 3.

RFC have just released the following news.

Tickets for our home game against Luton Town on Boxing Day were due to go on sale at 10am this morning (Thursday).
However please note that we have delayed putting these on sale until after the government’s tier announcement, which is due later today.
Should Reading remain in Tier 2, we will announce our new on-sale times as soon as possible.

Was good to see 3 games of live foootball. Such a sterile game on TV without us.

Went to two of them and it was great to be back although getting to and from the games was hard work with the M4 closed for the Forest game and the A419 closed at Swindon on my return home last night
Not too bothered about not seeing the Luton game live. Without any strikers it’s going to be hard work.

Same for me. Though know the back roads south of the M4 so much better now. M4/A419 junction closure wasn't so bad. Only a few minutes extra journey time,

Did anyone else get a message on the covid app to self-isolate? My Dad and I both got it so we were thinking it was from the game on Wednesday.
