Berks FM will still be the best coverage of the Royals even without live commentary and despite being sold down the river by the business management at RFC.

I agree Radio Berks sports coverage was the best thing the station did. Joel Hufford is a great commentator. Tim Deller is a bit of a pillock but I reckon coverage of the team was as good as any local radio station would give.
However I can only ever remember people on Hob nob harping on about it being rubbish.

Harping on about BBC Berks being rubbish proves people are listening to it, though. I suspect Reading 107 will not have the same problem.
I've never listened to 107 in the past and if the quality of streamed commentary on Reading World is anything to go by, I won't be doing so in the future either. I prefer the muck and bullets, not taking yourself too seriously approach of the BBC to the polished turd approach of commercial broadcasters.

107 should win as they support the club financially.
Radio Berks also support the club financially and did so when the club needed it most. They have also done far more to bring the club to a wider audience/fan base.
The only joke is 107 and it is an extremely bad one!

I still can't see the big fuss over it - the only fuss is caused by pLOLastics who don't attend the games who don't count anyway.
