T.R.O.L.I. Not sure whether this applies, but I seem to remember reading something at the bus stop the other day which said if you're 16 to 19 but still in full time education then you qualify for a discount. Could be wrong though so you might want to check out the Reading buses website...

Dear sirs,
While I understand Reading Football Club having to raise the prices of seasons tickets and match day prices to compete in the Premiership, I fail to understand how a rise of £1.50 compared to last season is justified on the urban bus service. The buses are always packed full (often at times last season to dangerous levels) and yet your company sees fit to increase prices by 42.86 %, forcing fans to pay the price for a successful football club. I trust if Reading are relegated, prices will drop, as I envisage season ticket prices will. Or is your company simply after a slice of the Premiership pie?
Yours, a dissatisfied customer,
XXXXXX XXXXXXX
PS While I am on my soapbox, I feel that the urban buses leaving one hour before kick-off for evening games is walking a very fine line getting people to the match on time, especially considering buses leave 90 minutes before Saturday games.

No, as demand increases, so does the price; it is increased supply which reduces prices.
