Should we drop Tom Hark now we're in the Prem?

by Skin » 13 Aug 2006 00:43

I think it's terrible but I'll go with the majority and accept it if it's what everybody wants.

However I see it like this:

A. It always ends natuaral celebrations prematurely as everyone stops cheering and chanting when the 'music' eventually starts, dances for 10 seconds like cloned cheerleaders, before sitting down and going quiet again.

B. It sounds like we've got Max Clifford doing the PA.

C. We look plastic as fuck

Why do we need anything?

I'd like to see us go without...but equally wouldn't mind too much if it was something unique like Terry & June, but would it work? How many of todays fans would appreciate it?

What we had before! Reading fans screaming and jumping around, like it should be. Not all this gay waving of the hands to an embarrassing and irritating tune.

Er, there has never been a problem with the noise after we score. So why bother with a silly little dance and a load of lemmings going "der der der"?
As for the drummer, I was sat 4 rows in front of the old bastard last season and it was a bit much, but his intentions are good. I just wish he wouldn't slow down the chants to a pantomime level half the time! Thankfully, I return to the East Stand next season in Y25, so I doubt I'll hear him much, thankfully.
You don't seem all that happy tonight AS, need a tuddle?

I'll spell it out. Did you manage to celebrate enough despite there being no Tom Hark laid on for Reading fans?
