Portsmouth Reserve Game on March 7 - question from US fan

by PremAddict » 29 Jan 2007 20:34

Hello,

Apologies for posting what might be a dodd but I can't find the info here or at the OS.

Question: how does one obtain tickets for reserve games and what are the typical prices? And what's the liklihood I could obtain tickets? I've noticed the attendance for those games is much lower.

Reason for the question: at long last I'm due for a business trip to London in March and absolutely must visit Reading for the first time ever.

Unfortunately no regular matches will occur but the reserve match on the 7th is something I'd like to attend just for a glimpse of what it's like.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Just turn up - there'll be no problems for a reserve match.

Something like 3 squid for adults and you'll have no trouble getting in.

Thanks!

That's what I hoped.

It would also be fun to bump into some of the folks on this board. I'll use the "meeting up" section for that I suppose.

I've never been to a reserve game, but I'd imagine there would be fewer than 1000 people in a 24000 capacity stadium. You should get there early to get a good seat.
