Always going to be Puma?

by RobRoyale » 01 Sep 2007 02:34

Will Puma always make our kit?

I have to say that there are a lot of nicer kits out there and generally better sportswear than the stuff Puma do. Is this just down to the desigers of our kit? The fact that we have hoops? Or is the bib thing actually liked by anyone?

Does anyone else find their Reading shirt makes them sweat more than, perhaps, their Umbro England shirt with it's various features for breathability etc?

Would our kit ever be changed to addidas or nike for instance? Or does that depend on how marketable we become.

Would another brand do a better job of a hooped shirt?

Bring back Mizuno - IMO the best quality kit and merchandise that we have ever had.

The best kit we've had in recent year is the Kit@ from the 2003-04 season.

I like the new Nike kits, having not like what Nike has done in the past. They're simple and have a very classic look to them. I especially like how they've handled hooped shirts, RC Lens in particular. Would love to see a similar Reading shirt with white shorts.

Spot on. The new Nike Celtic home kit should be the benchmark for the next Reading kit. Symmetric sleeves, white shorts, hooped socks, we can but dream.

I miss the white shorts and socks. Why club felt the need to change the kit I'll never no.

I wonder if a photoshopper could make the shorts white with a blue strip down the sides, and the socks white with blue hoops?

That would look great I think. It's a nice shirt too.

I had a spare half hour, couple of quick photoshop jobbies.
