Waitrose deal ends 2010/11. Puma the season after.

Given it's a World Cup year, it would be surprising if Puma had any kits ready before next season begins.

Wallington Royal Does anyone have inside information on next season kit. Will it still be made by Puma, sponsored by Waitrose, and when the realise date is?

I hadn't released that they were realising a new shirt...

New home kit everyone knows will be hoops and blue/white like normal. Would like to know who is saying that away kit is black when it hasn't been decided yet?! Waitrose is still sponsor and the shirt changes are due to the Puma deal which someone else has already stated. Personally I prefer the home shirt to the away shirt, away kit would have been better had it been green shirt with white shorts and if the green had been shamrock green.

The first Puma shirt was 2004. 5th season of wearing it then.

Think that there was another one done when RFC was in Prem to keep the prices down.

Bring back a collared home shirt with proper hoops and a proper sewn on badge.

Terminal Boardom What's changed? An increase in size of our fan base for starters. Second, the shirts bought for children soon become too small. The parents will buy a new shirt - next size up the following season. So if the parents are going to buy another shirt a year later then why not change the design to increase the club's profit? Just a thought.

The second one hasn't changed. To my knowledge kids have always grown. Also, I'd be surprised whether the first one has changed either. Since that statement was made our average home gate has continued to be around 17 thou.

Very much agree with this.

Also with red lettering and numbering.

Sun Tzu
AthleticoSpizz
royalexile Is the change of kit led by the club or the likes of Puma though?

The club have the power to make, take or leave the decisions

Not if all the kit manufacturers insist on it they don't !

I suspect playing in skins is against FIFA rules, although we could probably register our kit as 'red tops and white shorts' and buy a job lot of Man U kits from JJB !!

Are you really suggesting that every single club in the league now changes its kit design -both home and away- every season?! I suspect you are not, which means there are still kit manufacturers who do not insist on it.

Therefore clubs remain free to make up their own minds as to how often they want to change their kit. What's more you know damn well that even in the scenario that you portray, a club like Reading would not have to resort to buying a set of standard shirts from the likes of JJB! Shifting the volume that they do, they could easily commission a designer and manufacturer to produce whatever type of kit they want. I'm sure the brother in law of the owner of the Puma factory in whatever offshore country they use would be more than happy to set up a ghost operation using materials etc. from exactly the same source!

Whore Jackie Waitrose deal ends 2010/11. Puma the season after.

Given the World Cup comes around every four years at more or less the same time, it would be far more surprising if a company like Puma hadn't factored that into their capacity planning to ensure it did not adversely affect any of their other operations!

Lilywhites in London have them last time I checked. Not sure how much though.

Given that there hasn't been a World Cup since 2006, why haven't both home and away kits been available to buy in any of the last three summers?
