BR0B0T Surely there is room to rotate the squad with like for like replacement and keep everybody fresh

Foden/Grealish
The Fullbacks
Sterling/Rashford/Sancho

Nothing too mental just 2/3 starters and sub players if they can

England always seem to fall off a cliff physically in the latter stages of summer tournaments

Beat or draw with Scotland and yes for sure switch it for the third.

Sterling was ok...defo not MOTM but he got the goal. Could change him up

No idea why Shaw or Chillwell were overlooked but they can come in

Are we able to change up the two in midfield doing the running? Do we need two against Scotland?

I think I see the Walker situation differently.

Going forward he was as much use as an empty shirt. Defensively we thought he was very good.

Interesting to see quotes about trouble coming down our right. I don’t recall much coming down left, right or centre, but there you go.

Bellingham is going to be one hell of a player, isn't he? Bellingham-Rice/Phillips-Mount already looks nailed on as our midfield for the World Cup.

If only the commentators could remember how old he is so they could let us know.

Hasn’t he already done more than either/any of the Sessegnon’s ?

I have tickets for the Czech Republic game. Could well be lacking in tension and a bit of a dead rubber for us, but on the flip side it would be great to see an exciting line up with players like Bellingham, Grealish and Sancho given a chance.

Ryan Sessegnon was a tap in merchant. Which I guess is decent to have that sort of instinct at a young age but he didn’t have much else in his locker and he couldn’t deal with the step up from Champ to Prem level

Out of interest are the tickets via a ballot or hospitality?

Ballot. I was one of the lucky ones.

Dean Henderson has a hip injury and has left the England squad; Sheffield United's uncapped Aaron Ramsdale has been called up as his replacement.

Well, quite. Don't know if Hendo was doing a funny, but Bellingham has been impressing in the Bundesliga and Champions League as a 17 year old. Ryan Sessegnon was 19 when he hit the Premier League, and he struggled immediately.

Yeah, just for clarification I was doing a funny re: the age thing. Comment was about how many times the commentator went on about his age and the EFL commentators did the same thing with RS when he was playing for Fulham.

Mad to think that, including internationals, Donnarumma has played 278 games already. He turned 22 in February. Wish there was a database with this stuff, most appearances/goals at certain ages, etc.

Jude Bellingham is on 95, and could conceivably make 98 appearances before he turns 18. Sessegnon had played 82 times for Fulham at the same point.

Out of interest how many games had Norman Whiteside played by the time he was 18/19?

I see the Scottish media are starting to bring out quotes about English arrogance and complacency which could be our downfall on Friday. Have the people saying this been living in a vacuum in the past 5 years? There has never been a less arrogant, less complancent England team that this one under Southgate. It seems a lot of opponents still have an outdated view of England. All our opponents said it in 2018 too, but we only lost then because we played a better team with a world class midfield.
