Talking about the Scotts, seen a few around central London today already ahead of the game tomorrow. It really is a shame that full crowds aren't allowed, would be a cracking atmosphere in the city.

100% there would be hundreds of punch ups. It is a good thing that the capacity is limited.

Went to the Euro 2000 play off at Wembley against the Scotch. Tried to get into The Globe on Baker Street and police had a ring formed outside it while pint glasses were being thrown from the doorway out across the road

Went to Wembley and found you could get beers in the shop nearby so did that and we hung around outside the stadium just on the cans. Saw a scotch walking past me get smashed round the head with a weighted police cone.

Does anybody know where the football is? I can't seem to find it?

Hold on just let me call it.

It's just told me that its coming home.

WestYorksRoyal I see the Scottish media are starting to bring out quotes about English arrogance and complacency which could be our downfall on Friday. Have the people saying this been living in a vacuum in the past 5 years? There has never been a less arrogant, less complancent England team that this one under Southgate. It seems a lot of opponents still have an outdated view of England. All our opponents said it in 2018 too, but we only lost then because we played a better team with a world class midfield.

A forrin told me that most other nations see us as arrogant about out football team because we always sing that 'its coming home' each tournament. I tried explaining that this is nothing more than a feel good singalong and is not an announcement of how we actually feel, and that most of the time we are just waiting for things to implode spectacularly, but he wasn't having it at all

honestly Winst, it's just easier to batter hit with a white plastic chair

Why does Southgate hate Jack Grealish? This was the perfect game to start him in.

the best bit about ITV is the ads just before kick-off really helps with the build up

NathStPaul Mbappe against anyone is fairly terrifying, he's a world class player who will cause issues for even the very best defenders.
I see us having issues with the more physical sides rather than France and their ilk. Really worried Scotland will push us very close, might even get a draw.

Steve Clarke is a decent coach, agreed there - tactics against Arsenal when he was in charge here was superb

They are a side with absolutely no pressure on them, they did the hard bit by getting there. They can play agaisnt England with nothing to lose and everything to gain. If they go 1-0 up early in the game it could be a very painful evening for us on the 18th of June.

Not far from being spot on, Clarke out schooled Southgate tonight and it was highly predictable

That was arguably the worst England performance I've seen, its up there with the Algeria 0-0 in 2010.
