windermereROYAL Some very disgusting tweets about the little German girl filmed crying near the end, F*cking hell have we really come to this?

What were you hoping for exactly?

To act like civilised human beings, maybe thats hoping for a bit much, most of them got shut down tbf.
But tweets like "cry more Slut" and "where were your tears when Hitler murdered millions  ?" among loads more aimed at a small child is beyond contempt.

Wondering if club bans might help? Identify the culprit, find out who they support, the club bans them for a set time.

I`ve been off of it since last year, don`t miss it in the slightest, just seen some screenshots online.

To be fair, the broadcasters should take some of the blame - they go out of their way to film crying fans, particularly children when a team gets knocked out of a competition. We should know, the number of playoff defeats we've had.

Hopefully some good will come of this and they will no longer exploit these kids.

Last nights match was the highest viewing figures (20.6M) for any telly programme here since the WC2018 semi against Croatia, and the Olympics closing ceremony was the only other thing that beats it since Euro 2004 Vs Portugal

Snowflake Royal Is Southgate the first England manager to make two QFs?

Bobby Robson took them the QF in 86 and SF in 90.

Out of interest... how do they count a big screen at a pub or in a fan park? As 1 set?

There's hundreds watching those so I think that would add up quite significantly across the country

I guess because of COVID the fan parks will all be ticketed so they'll be able to have a pretty good guess. Pubs - no idea, always wondered.

Apparently Saka had a knock against Germany and Sancho will start tonight. Reported by the Athletic who have been right about everything so far. Good call in my view; keep the direct running in the team.

Feel a lot more nervous about today than the Germany game. Just want to get it over with.
