Gutted for Chile, so close for the last pen and an inch away from winning it at the end of ET

With Chile hitting the bar and by being less shit on pens, probably worth lumping on Brazil for the title. That's the sort of luck the winners need.

Pepe the Horseman Hope you glory boys supporting Brazil are happy. Cunts, the lot of ya.

S'pose that's me.

Yep happy, but sad to see Chile out. Loved that game.

Just when we were beginning to build bridges as well.

lost by 2 or 3 in normal time.

Gonna miss their manager the most. His prowling was brilliant.

Neymar can oxf*rd off. Hulk looked good though.

He's welcome to replace Dolan after the Irishman replaces Adkins in a year or three.

Only just seen the result - missed the shoot-out because we went out to a Samuel Beckett play.

Despair, disappointment, alienation.

The play was good, though.

It was a little like an example of how not to take penalties.

I'm really starting to take a powerful dislike to this Brazil team. Now that's a sentence I never thought I'd utter.

There's been a few of us on here saying the same since the opening match. Cynical, workman like, the most turgid and uninspiring Brazil team in living memory.
