Ouroboros What an absolutely great game.

Great stuff from Algeria, one of the teams of the tournament. I understand that the coach printed out Mags' comment and stuck to the dressing room wall as a motivational tool.

Germany could have had five.

Pepe the Horseman Tulip, I'm going to be in Amsterdam on 8 August. If Holland win the World Cup, will we meat up?

Only if they win????

I think they will be knocked out in the semis by Argentina because it is written by the FIFA gods. Fingers crossed they aren't though, oh what a party that would be!

Quite how anyone (not legitimately connected) can actively support Germany from these shores is beyond me. Don't mind appreciating good football from anyone, but it's an unnerving thought.

I think what you mean is "you're a motivational tool."

Ouroboros Germany always unimpressive? They've been one of the best teams to watch going forward for ages. They had 28 shots.

They look vulnerable as hell, I'll grant you. Can't call that France/Germany quarter.

I could be biased. They always manage to scrape through, without ever being exciting. It's dull & predictable. I will be French on Friday.

Germany haven't been dull for a decade.
