Just went to the shops and have now kitted my daughter out head to toe in IN-GER-LAND gear. She wasn’t really that into it so I had to get a England unicorn head band and an England teddy to persuade her. Spent the journey home blaring World in Motion out the car window.

I’m pumped now. So pumped! C’mon IN-GER-LAND!

I'm actually making the terrible mistake of looking forward to the game tonight ... bet it will be another borefest.

Hoop Blah
winchester_royal After all the drama of the past few days, and the apparent difficulty that the 'big' teams are having at putting away the minnows, I think you'd have to be delighted to come away from this evening with an underwhelming 1-0 win.

Agreed. Even before the last few results we needed to be realistic about the ease of turning over Tunisia.

The weekends games should have served as a good warning to both players and fans as to what to expect.

Given England surely can't consider themselves a big team the warning shouldnt apply to them. But they have had it amply demonstrated that drive, tempo, teamwork and commitment are more important than reputation or talent, so they should come out treating this game as a level playing field where they have to outwork the opposition to win.

Obviously we'll choke, but hey ho.

I'd just like a couple of decent performances and competitive in a knockout game. Qers would be good. Semis electric.

Depending on the XI it genuinely feels like the squad has the attitude to perform with zero expectation of actual success.

Well if they lose they can always blame the mossies. Thought Sterling's hairspray would be adequate.

Nasty font on the back of the Tunisians' shirts.

Never rated Kyle Walker as a defender and that confirmed it.

Speaking as a Welshman so reasonably objective I thought that penalty was very harsh. England just need to keep playing like they have and they will win with a bit to spare. They need to finish off these chances though.

Kane clearly fouled. Should have been a pen. Tunisia’s defence is dreadful

Agreed

Keown says it's modern day football and so it's going to be given. Not sure what rules have changed.

Now Kane is rugby tackled. Obvious pen. VAR anyone?
