NathStPaul Italy looking good, worryingly good. I think their defence can be got at though. Going forward they look untouchable.

They’d kept something like 10 clean sheets in a row before this one!

Tbf England have only conceded one goal since November 2020

I haven't conceded a goal since 2014 8)

Big shame. He's had a great tournament and has been so exciting to watch.

Spinnazola has been brilliant in this tournament. A shame if he is out of the tournament.

Got to love some good old fashioned Italian gamesmanship.

Who the hell decided that it was a good idea to waste Belgium's golden generation by letting Roberto Martinez manage them?

Decent ish effort from Belgium but can’t help but wonder why they persisted with three CB’s the entire game, particularly the closing stages of the game

Sure, Benteke and Batshuayi aren’t ideal subs but they’re attackers and it was all or nothing at the end, wasn’t even like they threw any of their CB’s forward either

Word for Italy though, best team this tournament, midfield three has such a good balance to it, with an agile attack and a solid defence, theirs to lose IMO

Have Belgium's golden generation achieved much more than England's failed one? A world cup semi final, number 1 in FIFA rankings, but ultimately failed. They haven't looked great this tournament. That'll be it for them now anyway. Still relying upon Vertonghen and Vermaelen questionable enough now; let alone in 18 months.

Italy favourites for me now.

Don’t think he’s as bad as people make out
Belgium consistently flatter to deceive

He's been a complete flop all things considered. Negative coach who didn't set up for Belgium to play to their strengths.

I dunno.KDB didn’t look fit tonight. Obviously Hazard’s injury problems haven’t helped either, Thos two are a big part of Belgium’s attacking threat.
I’m not convinced they have enough depth to their squad.

Italy are a joy to watch.
