I kept wanting them to shoot. Then they do and I see why they just keep passing it.

0-0 matches should skip extra time and go straight to penalties.

Really shit. I hate with a passion this sort of football when it's done like this. ie slow, too many touches, tedious with no adventure.

Going to take the dog out for his walk now so I'm back in time for penalties. You can thank me if this turns into a goal fest.

If its been a 4-4 thriller I'm happy for extra time, but 0-0s less so.

I hate to say it about a Spain player but why the hell did he shoot from that angle with two unmarked players on the six yard line able to tap in a pull back.

Game improved once Morocco stopped parking the bus and actually gave it a go. Game opened up for both teams. Just not enough quality from either with the final ball.

Thank god for that, good riddance to one of the most boring sides I’ve seen in years. Hoping now for Switzerland to do Ronaldo and his mates.

1000 penalties! 0 out of 3 on the night

Those penalties were just terrible

I think they bored themselves into submission with all that inane passing

There'll be dancing in the streets and pints of beer spilt in the pubs of Marrakech tonight.
