Little known fact that the 1966 SF between England and Portugal was due to be played at Goodison Park.
However, due to intervention of the English officials, the venue changed to Wembley.

Naughty England.

Lots of cheeky events have taken place.

We don't know the half of it.

Fifa executive committee member Franz Beckenbauer says he is losing faith in the governing body after its handling of the 2018 and 2022 World Cup votes, branding the treatment of unsuccessful bidders England and Australia a "disgrace".
