Nice picture mate. Did you get any others inside the stadium? What was the atmosphere like when has-been defender Terry headed up in the air and Watford scored?

Can't believe how fcuking indulgent Chelsea and John Terry are. A guard of honour during a Premier League match?

Ref should've booked the lot of 'em for time wasting.

Fcuk off JT

Saw on Twitter earlier today:

9 years ago today John Terry spat on Carlos Tevez, demanded the the penalty order be changed so he could try and score the winner, lost his nerve, fell over, missed, lost the game for Chelsea then just sat on the floor and cried

@Scottwilsonecho
David Moyes reveals #SAFC agree to put the ball out in the 26th minute so John Terry could have his send off.

Fair play to Moyes.....isn't there an element of perverting the passage of play there?......matchtime fixing even????

Terry remains a pcunt tho'

More cringeworthy than the full-kit saga IMO

Someone on Talksport was asking about how that effects things like bets. A valid point.

I also think it's so over the top, it's cringe worthy. It's completely tainted the occasion I think - rather than him playing 90 mins or whatever is a "natural" amount, and then everyone giving him the great send off, it's now "ALL ABOUT ME!!!!!!".

I think Gunter should do the same thing when he retires or leaves RFC.

Just as sweet Caroline is fading away, he gets subbed off on the 2 minute mark as 13000 people clap him off (or 24000 if we do the unimaginable on Monday)

The events at chelsea yesterday provided a perfect end to Terry's career and reflected everything there is about the man.
Just surprised they didn't release 26 white doves and sacrifice 26 virgins in the centre circle...

I just love that every time an opportunity arises for Chelsea to do something a little bit classy they absolutely always bent it right up.

Chelsea FC. Resetting the benchmark for mawkishness.

Instead of us all watching him win the game over 90 minutes then rightly talking about what an amazing player he is, we are now talking about this ridiculous stupidly OTT substitution

Did no one stop him at any point and say, "look JT at the end of the day yea? Obviously yea but this ain't a good idea bruv fam yea?"

Or did Conte not say "looka johna terry, I ... I theenk you great but ... mmmm how I say, Donna do it like theeees"

Just so utterly plastic and sums up so much that's wrong with the game.

Surprised SKY didn't break off coverage of the Liverpool game to cover it live

Shame no-one bet on there being a substitution of JT in 26th minute. Though if they did you can bet that no-one would say anything as it's Chelsea involved - unlike the furore that was raised over 'piegate'.
