No Fixed Abode Take it you didn't see the game today then m8? Not much wrong, we played well. When we've got JT, Lamps, Essien back we'll be fine. Essentially we haven't had the main spine of our team playing together the whole season. Also, lets not forget Benayoun is out and Alex is carrying an injury.

Should have won easily today. 2 penalties in the first half and one for hand ball in the 2nd half.

Only one of those players you mention as being unavailable is a defender (and a tactically inept one at that). This confuses me, as I thought it was your terrible defending which was primarily to blame for the current form.

Of course Essien doesn't contribute in a defensive role does he?

Come back when you know something about football m8!!

He's still not a defender though. And Mikel has been deployed as the holding midfielder with increasing regularity, allowing Essien to become more of a replacement for Ballack. Come back when you've watched your team play this season, m8.

Can anyone tell me what Mikel does? Apart from give the ball away? Has to be the best bit of business Man Utd ever did letting him go to Chelsea.

He gets sent off fairly regularly, and is generally sub-standard in a team with Championship winning ambitions. See also, Michael Carrick, Lucas, Jermaine Jenas, Denilson etc

Down to 3rd, and they even had Terry and Essien back!

1 win in 6 isn't looking too good.

Read back through the thread, Ian. He's rattled like a baby's toy in the hand of a Parkinson's addled pensioner in a Kyoto earthquake during a polar flip. Poor love.

May have been contact but if you do a triple summersault with pike then you are hardly likely to get awarded the penalty are you.

Reckon Malouda could be up for an Oscar nomination after that dive.
