See Franks last night? More textbook imo. Head down, knee over the ball, right in the corner.

That finish by Ozil is as good a finish as you are ever likely to see from 18 yards. Seriously, on the run, the way he opens his body out to a ball coming on directly to him at pace and side foots it (with the more difficult foot to shoot with in that situation) into the one area of the goal the keeper can't reach is phenomenal. Absolute perfection, stunning finish.

Much better at finishing when he doesn't have time to think about it. Some of his finishing, after getting into good positions, were woeful at Madrid.

Prime example being:

It ok m8, I get it. Ozil is new to the Prem and anything remotely good he does is exaggerated, very poor marking, he got lucky his sliced shot took it past Reina. All I said was, Franks was more textbook.

If that is a sliced shot then I'm a oxf*rd Chelsea fan. Frank's is more textbook because that's all he does, never done anything remotely extraordinary in a game in his life.

This is almost turning into a "Frank's as good as Ozil" argument, which he quite obviously isn't.

Seriously though, the reaction of their fans after the defeat to Villa on the opening day made Reading fans look like rational students of the game.

Hopefully they'll have the good grace to look sheepish when Arsene leads them to glory this season. In an ideal world he then tells the fans where to stick their new contract as he rides into the sunset with Real Madrid.
