Yep. Another Liverpool fan. It's so transparent. Sanguine will tell you off soon for being a fan of another team on a Reading forum. Actually he might not, as he's a Liverpool fan too.

Monaco signed him for 3.5m last year, and he has scored 9 goals for them. :|

10 million a goal, not a bad return for your investment!

Reportedly accepted.

£92m

A lot of money for a British r&b singer. I presume the HT entertainment at the Emirates will not to be missed.

What's your thoughts on Sanchez?

The deal apparently fell through quite late on as Arsenal pulled out due to missing out on their replacement. Ian Wright has gone mad over it saying Arsene should have got rid as he doesn't want to be there.

On the one hand I think, keep him as they haven't got their replacement. He's their employee (player) and so should perform regardless and be kept. He's a professional footballer and should be performing as such.

Of course in football it's not quite as straight forward as that, and I guess something like this can have a very negative effect on the whole team. Plus I doubt he will put full effort in, especially as he hasn't been doing so even recently.

Arsenal are just going to lose out on all that money as he will end up leaving on a freebie when his contract expires. They should have cashed in, it's not like they have needed him these past two matc.....

Oh.

Given the utter stupidity of the current market they'll probably still be able to sell him for £50m in January.

As I said yesterday, the sort of fees flying around for players with a year left on their contract is obscene.

I actually don't think Arsenal should have accepted £60m yesterday. But they should have accepted £50m weeks ago, or £55m a week ago on the proviso that they sealed a deal for Lemar, or whoever else. Now, as you say, they will lose him for nothing in a year. Likewise £40m for Ox with a year left, or the purported £30m for Barkley. Madness.
