How many current football league grounds have you visited?

by Big Foot » 13 Apr 2011 20:33

Sure this has been done time and time again but after Scunny last night I've now got just 2 stadiums in the top 2 flights I've not visited yet - Bolton & Doncaster.

In League One I've done Brighton, Southampton, Charlton, Brentford, Dagenham & Redbridge, Walsall and Plymouth. League Two I've done Torquay, Stevenage, Gillingham, Oxford, Aldershot, Crewe, Bradford and Northampton.

58 out of 92 in total.

Ashton Gate in October was my half century. No more new ones to get this season, slow progress these days.

I make that 57 - 42 in the top two tiers, 7 in tier 3 and 8 in tiers 4?

Don't forget you'll be losing at least one of those next year, m8.

71 I think, will lose Brighton, Stockport and Barnet as things stand but gain Crawley. Missing Cardiff in the top two tiers, and most of the rest are grounds in the North.

Fairly poor effort on my part. Mad Stad, Vicarage Road, Carrow Road, Deepdale, Turf Moor, Brammall Lane, Hillsborough, The Valley.

Not that desperate to build upon rapidly to be honest. If I'm up to 40 in 20 years time then good. Make it in less than 5 years and I clearly don't have much else going on in my life.

Only 62 current league grounds but around 110 if you include previous grounds and non league venues that I visited when they were league sides.

42 of the current 92 so nearly halfway. Elland Rd next week will take that figure up to 43.

Bolton, Everton, Liverpool, Sunderland, Stoke, Chelsea & Fulham missing from the Prem and Barnsley, Boro, Scunny & Leeds in the CCC

I've done them all except; Arsenal, Everton, Hartlepool, Burton, Yeovil, Franchise, Carlisle, Colchester, Shrewsbury, Morecambe, Accrington and next year that new box in Brighton and Crawley (& possibly AFC Wimbledon)

Big Foot Bolton

Does that count if i've done Burnden Park but not the Reebok?

Likewise I've been to the Victoria Ground, but not the Britannia.

This seasons 92 ...

20/20 in the Prem (thank you away season ticket!)
18/24 in the Championship
16/24 in League 1
9/24 in League 2

Total = 63, not bad for a 19 year old 8)
