Sanguine Brilliant planning by Palace. Evidently De Boer was going to play different football to Big Sam, yet they've given him only four games (and truly only two awful performances) in which to turn it around. If you bring in a manager who is going to play a different style you surely have to accept that that style will take some time to impact on results. And, as said, they played pretty well at the weekend.

They've paniced basically. They've looked at the next 4 games and thought, we'll going to get to 8 games with 0 points and the season is essentially over.

Brought on their self though - you don't bring in a new manager who will have a new style and let him only bring in 2 loans and Sakho who was already really at the club and expect things to go brilliantly.

They should also get rid of whoever gave him the job.

'They' are the people who gave him the job, 'they' won't get rid of themselves.
But agree, Steve Parrish is the one to blame here. Either he made completelynthe wrong appointment or he has made a hugely premature decision.

The former motorcycle and truck racer turned motorsport television commentator? It would be a bit harsh to blame him IMO

Paddypower have attracted some (deserved) criticism this morning after (apparently in error) offering odds on Ugo Ehiogu to become the next Birmingham City manager. :|

Rightly so, although I'm not sure how that would have worked had he not passed being a former Aston Villa legend...

I see Karanka has been installed as the favourite to take over - not sure he would be the answer either

SSN reporting that Mark Sampson (totally innocent, of course, of any of the accusations levelled at him) is to leave his role as head coach of the England women's team. I'll take 'allegations proving to be a distraction to the team' in cliche bingo.

Ridiculous..aluko should be ashamed of herself. She only did it because she couldn't face being droppped.

There's a little sarcasm in my post tbh, there's something not adding up about Sampson's accounts of the incidents and a little too much timely rallying around Sampson by the squad. Aluko isn't the only one to have made allegations either.

Time to add Sampson to your death list I reckon. The FA appear to have chucked him under the nonce/sex offender bus based on their statement about his time at the Bristol academy. Will it be suicide or pedalo vigilante squad?

I doubt they'd have cleared him and said he was fit to coach if that was the issue. It has to be something not bad enough to get kicked out of football, but bad enough that it rules him out of managing England. Personally I'd have thought sex offender would lead to expulsion from football and a criminal investigation, or if there wasn't enough evidence, nothing.

Shagging the central defender or something like that.
