Another of our sacked managers (Rodgers, Adkins) who has gone on to do o.k. elsewhere.
Wait now for Clement to do the same.

Adkins hasn't achieved anything apart from finishing above us in the league, which is hardly a ringing endorsement.

To be fair to him, when Hull played us earlier in the year, they looked dreadful and he managed to turn that around.

Nobody said that he had gone on and won the oxf*rd World Cup-read what I wrote, i.e. "o.k.", which he has done and of course all 3 are in work.

Well all I'm saying is that "o.k" is clearly a pretty big spectrum as imho managing Liverpool, winning 7 trophies with the biggest club in Scotland, and then managing again in the premier league and someone taking Kilmarnock into Europe and becoming a national team manager are bigger achievements then failing to get a big club out of the third tier and "saving" a decent squad from relegation in the championship.

I read in the paper this morning that Chelsea's managerial payoff's have cost them over £90m since Abramovich took over!

Not to be pedantic but it has been 16 years with an average of £5.6m

But when you break it down and consider how much money there is, it really isn't a lot.

When you compare it to what Chelsea's peers will likely to have paid out then it's still a pretty impressive amount, IMO.

Also, the fact it can be dismissed so easily as a drop in the ocean is a pretty damning indictment of football. Especially as it could so easily be about half that.

You got carried away with o.k.-my point was that these 3 were sacked by us and have gone on and done o.k., brilliantly, fantastically (whichever you choose) and it will be interesting to see what happens to Clement.
Being sacked and paid off by Reading doesn't seem to have a detrimental effect on your career.

Pep Guardiola apparently has agreed a €24m a year, 4 year deal to take over at Juventus - due to be unveiled on June 14th.

None of it will matter until he wins the Gibraltor premier league.
