Simmops Spurs looking at replacements for Nuno already according to my sources

Is that the same source that said Kane to City was a done deal?

Pepe the Horseman I expect Nigel Adkins will be jobless in the morning.

His post match interview was bizarre, almost like he was watching a different game entirely. Bloke is a loon.

Quite liked Adkins but his positivity was infuriating! There are some games where you can't draw out positives yet he always found a way

On the flip side, in Adkins' last full season in charge at Hull, they accumulated just 9 points from the first 14 games, and still ended up not too far off nicking 6th spot. Think they should persevere

Think he would make a fantastic youth coach, would be one of the best out there. His delivery and personality would resonate more with a young player rather than experienced pros imo. I can imagine he would be quite grating for the older lads.

Agree, he seemed to get a fair tune out of a few youngsters whilst here

He was a big fan of Kelly I believe, who perhaps could have gone quite far under the management of Adkins as he always had the raw talent

Wait, what? I thought he was doing well there

Watford fans on their forum seem pretty pleased with the decision though.

Don’t Watford sack a manager every season though, irrespective of how well the team are actually doing?

Watford have now changed manager in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 (three times), 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 (twice), 2020 (twice) and 2021.

To be fair, he lasted 10 months which is longer than most.

7 points from 7 games is a respectable start but they haven’t really had any tough games yet so expect to see them drop

It’s harsh, but it’s also not surprising given it’s Watford

I’d love him to do well but can see that ending after about a dozen games.

Wouldn't even surprise me that's the sad thing. Absolute basketcase of a club.
