Seen a lot of people saying that, but I honestly can't remember Wolves being known as a defensive side under him, then again I didn't really watch them much.

Pepe the Horseman Marco Silva to Fulham.

Risky. Would have thought they'd have gone all out for Chris Wilder.

Don’t know the stats by heart but believe they had a very poor record of first half goals, something like only scoring 1 every 5 games in the first half

They were fairly decent to watch at the start under Nuno with their counter attacking but once teams had become accustomed to it, and set themselves up in a way to mitigate the risk of being countered, Wolves became a bit unstuck. Ended up in a situation where they were only really winning games 1-0

Isn’t that progress for Spurs, though ?

Looks like Steve Cooper is going to be leaving Swansea, mutual termination.

Strange. Was previously linked with Palace. Any of the other shite prem teams currently managerless?

Aren't Swansea a bit screwed financially having missed out on promotion and parachute payments ending?

I guess he won't have to wait to long if there aren't.

Speaking to my Swans supporting m8, sounds like he threw himself at Palace and Fulham, so a bit of a Steve Clarke situation.

From the sounds of it though, Cooper was pretty desperate to jump ship whereas Clarke only talked to Fulham, so not too much of a comparison there

Was unhappy with the way the club was run

With Ayew leaving and Grimes also likely to be on the way out (rumoured to be the final straw for Cooper) can see Swansea badly struggling next season

Just the play-offs then (in comparison to some other clubs we could mention)

John Eustace turns down the job to stay as #2 at QPR. Grimes pretty much confirmed as a Fulham player.

Think Swansea are in trouble this year.

Might be an outside chance of a Reading win this season then (though probably only when the club’s two “academy” sides meet in the league cup).

Guardiola says he is at City for this season and next, and then he is off to manage a national team
