Pepe the Horseman Jesus, that was a shockingly bad game.
Two teams terrified of losing.
Incidentally all the stuff about Moyes needing time just as Fergie needed time is just cobblers.
Fergie took over a poor side and eventually assembled a squad to win things.
Moyes has taken over the league champions and somehow managed to make them ridiculously bad.
I have a feeling that Moyes had the knack of getting the best out of run-of-the-mill players and by using the loan system well to bring in better players.
It does look as though he has a problem in getting the best out of previously-regarded good players such as Rooney and Van Persie and his approach seems to be that of somebody terrified of losing.
Still, despite playing such dull and imaginative football they are at least entertaining the rest of us and long may it continue.
