WestYorksRoyal The decision to pass on Dybala due to excessive wages and lack of enthusiasm is, for me, a sign Man Utd have learned from recent mistakes and are moving in the right direction. A quality player undoubtedly, but could easily have been a repeat of Di Maria and Sanchez.
You can baulk at the fees they have spent this summer, but these are young, hungry players who will contribute to a good atmosphere. Another few years of this and they may start to close the gap.
Another few years !!!
And then close the gap ?
They'll have spent the GDP of more than a dozen of the world's nations by then. And their fans have the balls to call out City for buying the title
I suppose it won't be classed as buying the title - since they won't have won it - just closed the gap
