Chelsea 2 - 0 Bayer Leverkusen

Goals Luiz, Mata. Assists Torres (2)

Good to see Ballack back at the Bridge.

I think the manager was resting Lampard for the Manchester United game on Sunday.

Terry also dropped, not even on the bench.

Had to laugh at hearing the Germans out singing the Chelsea fans....in English at times too!

Also, wasn't it a bit ironic that Chelsea's best player on the night was the Liverpool reject who couldn't even get in their side before moving to The Bridge.

Thought Sturridge looked very promising again though. Big couple of months for him.

There's no duller form of football that European group stages. Everyone knows who's going to go through anyway bar one or two clubs.

96 games solely for TV revenue.

Napoli holding on but bookings may cause problems in the 2nd half. Lavezzi causing problems on the break. Decent 0-0 this.

2 goals of a far higher quality than the rest of the game - so far.

Marcelo gets his second yellow for Madrid for diving. Serves the little sod right.

It's been a good game, this Citeh one. Two excellent goals, too.

Hate to say it, but really enjoying watching Citeh at the moment, with a bit of a man crush developing on Aguero

Lindergaard looked quality tonight. Wouldn't be surprised if he keeps his place in the team for the Chelsea game.
