League Cup

Why do the BBC insist on reminding us every ten minutes that the away goals rule only comes into play after extra time? They were doing it on 5Live earlier, and now they're doing it again on BBC2. It's always been that way in the League Cup.

Tbf, they don't get much live football on the telly and are making the most of it.

If Cardiff do bottle it again I can see their usual end of season choke start earlier than usual.

I'm hoping Cardiff win and then have a poor February with their players thinking about the final. Annual #meltwatch would be underway!

I'd prefer them to continue their fine tradition and have a poor April and May.

Would be nice if it started earlier and then carried on into April and May.

Not a great advert for Championship football. Passing by both sides has been atrocious

Why does Cardiff new stadium still have pillars on one of the stands?

I don't remember that it does. Perhaps you're seeing the supports at the back of the stands.

Anyway, quite impressed by Scannell & Zaha. Not the finished article but quite promising

I'm sure it did have them, it looked old school, like QPR.

Zaha looks very lively, almost glimpses of Kebe a couple of years ago with the end product.

Am I the only person who thinks both Kenny Miller and Peter Wittingham are both totally over-rated and only look decent because they play in the C.ship?

I almost jinxed it, just when writing this Cardiff have hit the bar. But, I think Palace have the upper hand here despite the 10 men. Cardiff won't be able to push that hard, because they know if Palace nick a goal, they will need 2 goals themselves.

Miller is a very very average football at best. Wittingham is awesome imo.

I think that Miller is a good championship player but I think that Wittingham is class. Wand of a left peg at times.

Wittingham is good at set pieces and shooting, but I'm not sure he brings much else. His passing everytime I see him (or on TV) is shite.

Zaha's phucking great, similar to Kebe in that he has no idea what will happen next but he throws in a boat load of skillzzz as well. Great to watch.

You sure you have been watching the game tonight? He is no7 ........ I have watched from half time and his passing has been pretty decent.

Honestly think you could be in the minority thinking PW is overrated.
