Just spotted Ledge not looking impressed at a team talk from Briatore and Sousa... it's really interesting.

As it went on I found myself seeing Neil Warnock as Mike Bassett

I thought it gave a very interesting insight into the inner workings of a football club, well worth a watch.

I also thought Tony Fernandez came across as a really nice down to earth bloke when Soccer Saturday interviewed him. He was off after the interview down the local pubs to meet and talk to the fans, and answer their questions and also to put across his plans for the club. Then he returned to the ground and sat with the fans which again was a nice touch. He went as mental as they all did when they scored.

Seems a decent guy with genuine ambitions for the club. It'll take time to put the foundations in place but he has the club at heart. It sounds like they're in safe hands with him!

I really wasn't going to bother but it was hugely entertaining and given our imminent takeover food for some thought.

Huge LOL @ Flavio who's a complete cock but the the real star is Paladini who is clearly a complete and utter mentalist

Extra LOL's for Liegertwood getting murked. Twice. No wonder he couldn't wait to get away.

This was a superb watch...

Team meeting was quite funny...Hogan Ephraim pipping up that the team needed to "start smashing people!!"...FLOLavio agreeing with him and then the camera pans back to the rest of the squad...Gorkss and Connolly there aswell...the faces on the players were like :|..definite sense of a lack of cohesion between players and management...

Fair play to Warnock..he turned things around and got them playing well to get them up...also nice to see an ol' school style pre-season training with the players doing some intense fitness sessions...gotta love Warnock...

Also, have to agree that PaLOLadini is a proper mentalist...some of the telephone conversations were comedy gold...

QPR: 4 year pLOLan

by floyd__streete » 05 Mar 2012 12:22

Anyone else watch this rather dull documentary yesterday? Plenty of LOLz to be had in the first half of the doc with Briatore demanding managers sacked every five minutes and the loathsome Paladini doing his master's bidding by knocking on the dressing toom door to request an extra striker be put on for the second half. Got a bit dull when they appointed Warnock, yeah you've embarassed yourself by getting through half a dozen managers in 18 months before getting it right so don't feel too pleased with yourselves.

Anyway, it told us nothing we didn't already know:

- Briatore and Paladini are complete idiots.
- QPR are an embarassing shambles of a club.
- QPR fans make Reading supporters look like University Challenge material.

Yes, just about to delete the thread and then you couldn't get in to reply quick enough so now I can't delete it, well done Brains. Why not put up some hilarious picture of Ken Dodd while you are at it.

I've just got a cob on because I didn't see the other thread and now this one will be deleted, with the inclusion of my excellent analysis above. Oh well, carte blanche to say what I want on this thread until it is deleted anyway.

Very interesting programme. Flavio came over as total knob telling Sousa who should be playing and what formation. Says everything about what happpens when outsiders come in and take over football clubs. Makes me realise how lucky we are to have SJM. He may not have there millions, but has always had the good sense to let the manager get on with his job whilst he just gets on with the money side of things. As for the QPR fans just LOL.
