Royal Rother
Maguire Anyway, incredible victory from Chelsea against all the odds and anyone who supported the hermans or didn't enjoy seeing them finally crying on the turf after losing a penalty shoot-out needs to have a long look at themselves.

Ryan Bertrand, CL debut in the final, wins a medal. Surely any real Reading fan has got to be made up for the guy.

No fan of Chelsea but this is pretty much what I came on here to say.

yes, another +1 for the sentiments here. I'll always support the English/British team, even Chelsea.

Pleased for Di Matteo in particular

Well done to Chelsea.

Got a few "get out of jail" cards during their run.

Before the game a lot was made of Munich playing at home.
When Chelsea equalised I thought that the Munich players then realised the enormity of the occasion having been expected to win and they looked very tired during extra time.
My wife had been out and came in just as the penalty shoot-out started.
Two things-"why is the keeper wearing that stupid hat?"
After Cech failed to save one of the penalties she felt prompted to say He's not very good is he?"
I did comment that he was one of the main reasons why Chelsea were in the final and amazingly had drawn the game.
Her mum and dad were Oxford United fans.
I rest my case.
Oh,and we bred a Chelsea fan who ,unlike Kes, goes to games.

Im glad there are some sensible people out there....

The only English fans last night who should have been supporting Munich, were the Spurs ones

Of course, national pride is only sensible. If you don't get that, you're a moron or a nazi or something.

Living near Stamford Bridge as I do, I had the unfortunate scenario of witnessing the fan's parade first hand.

If there is a more vile set of fans in the country, I have yet to see them. A horrible mix of wide boy essex wannabes with side partings and (fake) barbour jackets, South London pikies in tracksuits, and families with generations of inbreeding sharing bottles of lambrini on the street.

Scarred for life.

Does Chelsea winning mean that Newcastle lose their Europa League place to Spurs?

No cos Chelsea qualified for that (via FA Cup) - so Newcastle take it

And yet apparently anyone who wasn't delighted to see this bunch of mongs, along with a racist captain and a cheating striker, win the biggest trophy in club football should take a long hard look at themselves...
