TBM Just seen highlights of City game - was it really as one sided as the highlights showed?

A fight between Mike Tyson and Jay Tabb would be more evenly contested.

Dortmund were excellent, but City were so horrendously one-paced it was a little embarrassing to think they're our current champions

Jackson Corner Joe Hart the best keeping display I have seen in years. I counted 8 World class saves.

.... and he's English as well! 8)

I was wrong with my prediction last night. Said it would be 3-3. Having seen some of the chances missed, it could have easily been 3-3, although Dortmund definitely deserved a win. Gr8 performance.

Actually feeling sorry for Celtic who have fought and fought. Barca winner in the last minute of injury time.

I felt a bit sorry for them too, but this is a Champions League squad with Kelvin Wilson and Kris Commons in it, they definitely overachieved in only losing 2-1

Was at the United game last night, few observations:-

Hernandez MOM - played really well apart from just the goals, very impressed. Needs to move if he's not going to get 30/40 games a season

Kagawa & Cleverley disappointing. You can see they both have the technique, but not sure suited to the United's style...

...which brings me onto that point - United actually very direct. Lot of hustle and bustle but essentially they overwhelmed Braga through power and strength not technique and quality. Looking like a quarter final exit to me

Big lad up front for Braga (who skinned Rafeal for their second goal) looks a decent player. Good movement, good touch and a unit. Definite handful.

Atmosphere not bad. Was next to Stretford end, which was pretty loud when they got going. Can imagine on a big European night being a cracking atmosphere.

After Fraser Forster's outstanding performance I'd be feeling sorry for Alex McCarthy if I were you.

Don't personally have any reason to consider Celtic 'scummy'.
