He is just a spoilt brat, upset because Iniesta was voted top player in Europe. He just cannot accept that Messi is twice the player he is.

He is truly a horrible individual, Fergie as usual got it right to let him go. One bad apple in the barrel can turn the rest bad. That is why I admire Brian so much, character, is so important to him a player does n´t conform to his guidelines and they are out. Real Madrid ,Barca can afford prima donnas we cannot.

150 goals in 149 games for Real Madrid. 241 goals in his last 304 games for Man Utd and Real.

It's not exactly bad, is it?

Fastest to 100 goals though.

And I think Barca (who didnt win) could cope better without Messi, than Real (who did win) would cope without Ronaldo

Interesting idea there. Probably true, but by a slim margin. Without hiring a replacement, definitely Barca. I like Higuain's talent, probably couldn't carry the whole load though.

soggy biscuit Not trying to 2nd guess the story as it is probably the usual rubbish paper talk but it makes you think what incredible high's these sportsmen experience, and Ronaldo probably more than most, and so sitting at home on your own must feel a long way down.

Seems like a wonderful life that we all envy but in reality is probably very strange & bizarre and not always easy to cope with (especially if you are not all that intelligent which footballers are often not)

from facebook

Cristiano Ronaldo
That I am feeling sad and have expressed this sadness has created a huge stir. I am accused of wanting more money, but one day it will be shown that this is not the case. At this point, I just want to guarantee to the Real Madrid fans that my motivation, dedication, commitment and desire to win all competitions will not be affected. I have too much respect for myself and for Real Madrid to ever give less to the club than all I am capable of. Abrazos to all madridistas

For a start Spacey IIRC you don't watch Spanish football do you, so how do you know about how the goals were scored?
Secondly although he was the worst diver we have ever seen when he started with Man Utd he became a star in our football and subsequently a star in Spain.
"Overrated" compared with whom and by what criteria?
He may not be the sort of player that we warm to (nor was Maradonna) but his ability is beyond question and the stats give an idea that he can play a bit.
