I didn't think it was a penalty for City. The Ream one, I've seen them given and was quite surprised it wasn't given considering how far his arm was out.

Eddie Howe (amazingly favourite with the bookies to be the next England manager) comes up with a masterplan at home to City on Saturday.
Play 10 defenders and a keeper, don't attack, meaning don't have any corners, no shots and no goals.
City had 23 attempts.

If this had been Basingstoke at home to City in a cup game I could understand the tactic as with a 0-0 it would mean a lucrative replay but this was a mid-table side at home to a team in the same division.

For the sake of football, even if it didn't help Liverpool's cause, I was glad that City won the game.

Ream's arm was about 2 inches from his body and didn't move. The ball was smashed at his arm from two feet away. Never a penalty.

Kes.

You've got your feet and inches muddled up.

It's not an analogy. It's a joke.

Ian is far superior to you in every single way. People like Ian despite his flaws where as nobody wants you here, nobody has ever wanted you.

Genuinely never known a hype train like the one around Phil Foden for the last 2 years or so.

Job done, and comfortably so.....I guess

Felt Watford were a little unlucky in the early stages...great save from Ederson...penalty shout etc etc.

Interesting point pre-match on the beeb (or did I mishear it?) Citehs bench something like £250 million, Watfords starting line-up £47 million.

Still fair do’s to them, a decent treble for the ‘better’ half of Manchester

You wouldn't like me when I'm angry

18 minutes in. Manchester City 5-0 Watford.

According to Le Tiss they missed half a dozen really straightforward chances as well

They like ripping Watford a new one

Was beginning to think this was on the wrong thread.
Man City won the toss, batted first and declared on 8 without loss
