Great start by Churchy.Unlike most on here i was sad to see him leave.Gave his all in every game he played.Gets lots of undeserved flak on here and in general by Reading fans.

2 goals in one game??? has to be an Imposter. Church usually struggles to score 2 in a season.

Good Riddance

Simon Church put the hosts in front in the 18th minute when a blocked shot rebounded invitingly.

Church missed a glorious chance to make it 3-0 from Pigott's cross, but he quickly made amends.

Again there was an element of fortune as Cedric Evina's speculative shot, which was going well wide, was controlled by the striker and red inverted past Clarke.

Sounds about right.

I like "red inverted."

Man in red shirt sticks it thru man in green shirt? In green goalmouth?
