I can't bring myself to see him playing in another shirt. I want my memories untainted. It's like when an elderly relative goes doolally; you are hesitant to visit them too much because you want to remember them as they were before.

Neither Kebe nor Mariappa started against Arsenal today. No manager, no hope of survival. I wonder if project Palace seems quite so alluring now?
