Help the Bees!

by Jakarta Bee » 30 Jan 2014 12:30

Hi all of you in your not quite new but still shiny stadium.

Much as all Bees fans love Giffin Park, the time has come for us to move on and we need help with our petition to support the new Lionel Road project and figh off the Nimbys of Chiswick / Kew / Strand on the Green and their "over my dead body" approach:

https://www.change.org/petitions/the-ma ... o_link&utm _medium=email&utm_source=share_petition

Just in case yu are worried, the drinking opportunities around the new stadium will be at least the equal of Griffin Park.

Please sign and pass on the word!

thanks!

My girlfriend left me for a Brentford fan. I hope you all die of bad aids tbh.

Where's the petition for you to stay at Griffin Park? Would sign that in a heartbeat.

Agreed. Don't like these modern day half full grounds with no character. Griffin Park is great. Just give it a bit of a face lift.

'Greed about half full grounds. Especially when teams are playing in the Champions League and can't fill the stands.

Griffin Park is now my local ground. Should wander down to there sometime really.

Could you outline what the residents objections are, and why you feel they should be dismissed as nothing more than nimbyism :?:
